Iron City has a drool-worthy menu sure to please everyone. Their maximum capacity is 1300 guests, so you can invite all your closest friends.

The perfect photo-op. (Nathan Watson / Bham Now)

Want to wow your rehearsal dinner guests with one of Birmingham’s newest live music venues? Check out The Fennec, with a variety of rentable options including The Foxhole Lounge (a bar within a bar) or The Cypress Room. Their menu looks pretty incredible, too. Conecuh corndog bites, anyone?

3. The Farrell & Christopher Glenn

The Farrell and its sister property, Christopher Glenn, are new to the Birmingham event space scene. In the heart of Homewood, they offer a blank canvas for couples looking to have full creative freedom for their event venue. Cater in your choice of food and drink to ensure your guests get to taste YOUR favorite spots.

Choose the best size for your party—The Farrell is 6,000 sq. ft. while Christopher Glenn is 1,500 sq. ft.

BONUS: Need some inspo on what food to have catered in? Check out our recommendations for local barbecuepizza, plus our NOWIES winners. Reminder: Be sure to confirm that your chosen vendor is permitted to serve at the venue.

Did you know you can rent out a space at brick & tin for a buffet or seated dinner? Give me all the Bluebird salads, please!

5. Sol y Luna

More chilaquiles, less problems. (Madison Croxson / Bham Now)

I simply have to include Sol y Luna in this list—they’re one of my all-time favorite spots in Birmingham, and where I had my engagement celebration! They host rehearsal dinners, too. What better way to celebrate your wedding weekend than with a margarita in hand?

6. The Hive

It’s all fun and games… (Jacob Blankenship / Bham Now)

Practice your “I dos” then hit the cheese curds and arcade games at this fun spot, home to the only rooftop in Five Points South.

7. Have your rehearsal dinner in Birmingham at a local brewery

Cheers to that. (Jacob Blankenship / Bham Now)

Whether you choose to rent a private space (like Avondale’s iconic “The Upstairs”) or simply gather your favorite people for a beer, Birmingham breweries are a unique option for a rehearsal with plenty of local flair.

8. SoHo Social

Get social. (Lauren Bedford / Bham Now)

You can rent “The Social Room” at SoHo Social, where you and your VIPs can eat all the corndogs and giant soft pretzels you want. Check out their sister restaurants, SoHo Standard and SoHo Taco (coming soon!), too.

9. Red or White

Pour up. (Matthew Niblett / Bham Now)

Wine lovers, this one’s for you. Best suited for more intimate parties, Red or White is a Forest Park gem for wine, cheese and everything in between.

10. John’s City Diner

This one’s certainly Bham Now approved, one of our Nowers hosted her rehearsal dinner here! Grab the private room and give your guests a taste of authentic Southern fare. Don’t skip the cornbread or signature Mac and Cheese!

11. The Wine Loft

The Wine Loft is a coveted space for private events. In fact, they’re currently only open to the public one day each week (Wine Wednesday, of course). We recommend reaching out early if you’d like to host your rehearsal here—they fill up fast.

12. The Florentine

Another newcomer to the Bham event scene is The Florentine, located downtown in a historic building. We love this option because they make things easy—all catering, florals, alcohol and pastries are handled on site, plus you’ll get a day-of coordinator to ensure all goes smoothly.

13. The Southern Kitchen & Bar

The Southern could be a great option for couples with lots of out-of-town guests coming in. Give them a taste of true Southern goodies like fried pickles, Conecuh gumbo and more.

Vino is the ultimate choice for couples seeking an elegant, intimate affair. They have multiple spaces available to rent including the patio, main dining room or Gallery Bar depending on your group size.
